PROGRAM

In addition to the traditional Montessori curriculum, there are many enriching cultural programs for our students, including Art, Music, Drama, Science Lab, Library, Physical Education, French and Spanish, Technology, as well as field trips and "going out" opportunities. We offer after-school programs throughout the year, including Art, Chess Club, Drama, Sports, and Yoga.

MSM holds several weeks of Summer Camp programs for each age group with a variety of activities on school grounds. 

The school has a very active Parent Association.

The Montessori School of McLean is one of only a few Montessori schools in Virginia to be accredited by the American Montessori Association, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and be certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services. MSM is a member of the Virginia Montessori Association.

Primary & Elementary education: Ages 2 3/4 - 12.
