Summer Camp

MSM SUMMER CAMP 2010

Summer Camp sessions are open to MSM students and to the community for children ages 2.9 to 12. This year, MSM is offering five sessions from June 28, 2010 - July 30, 2010. Bus transportation is also available for either round trip or one way. 

Preschool Camp: Age 2.9 to 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Monday - Friday

Preschool camp includes the basic Montessori curriculum, creative movement, arts and crafts, games, singing, child-friendly cooking, outdoor play and water play. Six-year olds should consider registering for this camp in weeks 1, 2, and/or 3, and for the elementary camps in weeks 4 and 5. Snack will be provided.

Week 4     July 19 - July 23

Week 5     July 26 - July 30

Elementary Camp: Ages 6 and up, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

The elementary camp will include a morning academic component (Montessori math, geometry, language, reading and science), as well as crafts, drama, yoga, hoop fitness and outdoor play in the afternoons. This is a great camp for children who are moving up to elementary in September; joining our school from another Montessori school; or just needing to keep up with their academic skills over the summer.

Week 5     July 26 - July 30

Elementary Sports and Percussion Camp: Ages 5 and up, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

In the mornings, the children will have a variety of sports and physical education experiences with camp instructors and will be introduced to various percussion instruments and activities in the afternoons. This is a great opportunity for elementary-aged children to have some new experiences!
