ELEMENTARY - 6-12 year olds
Our vibrant Elementary community benefits from building on the work completed at the primary level, using dynamic manipulatives to materialize abstract principles. These manipulative materials help the students understand the "why" in how the world works, and helps them move from concrete to abstract understanding. The rich curriculum includes Mathematics, Language Arts (reading, grammar, writing, spelling, creative writing), Science, Geography, History, and Character Development. Students take Standardized Assessments twice per year as one method of determining student progress.
Students attend five full-days a week. We have two Lower Elementary (ages 6-9) classes, and one Upper Elementary (ages 9-12) class. The three classes often work together and collaborate on projects, creating a strong environment for social development.
